Adding a “welcome screen”

You can add a “welcome screen” to your ONFORMs which will display before your questions. It offers a great way to provide important information to respondents, like how many questions there are, or how long it will take to complete.

A “welcome screen” is a great way to set the scene and give respondents relevant information about your ONFORM; you can add a heading, text, an image and/or supplementary text.

Here’s an example ONFORM with a “welcome screen”:

How to add a "welcome screen"

01 When on the ONFORM editor, click the settings button in the top right of the screen

The settings bar will then open

02 Scroll down to the "welcome screen" section

If the section is closed click the button to open it

03 Toggle the "add welcome screen" switch

04 Add your text in the 'text' box

You can add links, format your text by making it bold or italic, and you can add lists

05 Add a heading (optional)

06 Add an image (optional)

You can choose to place the image above or below the text as well as adding a border to the image

07 Add supplementary text (optional)

This will display as small text at the bottom of the info / section break

08 Done!

Your "welcome screen" will now display to respondents
